Joint French classes visit VMFA to tour Congo Mask exhibit

St. Christopher's and St. Catherine's eighth grade French students further their study of French Colonialism in West Africa.
Eight grade French students from St. Christopher's and St. Catherine's, led by Ms. Pohanka and Ms. Heaton, are currently studying French Colonialism in West Africa. This week the classes visited the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts together to tour the Congo Masks as a way of furthering their exploration of the subject.

Last week, the girls from St. Catherine's presented the boys with Valentine's Day cards written in French. The boys are currently employing their French language skills working on a response!
