FULL RESULTS

The indoor track team won the state VISAA meet on Saturday, February 16 in Bolling Field House. It's the second state indoor title in three years for StC.

The Saints outdistanced second place Fork Union 114.5 to 99. Field event MVP Elby Omohundro '19 led the way, scoring 34 points. Omohundro was first in the triple jump, breaking his own school record with a jump of 46-9, second in high jump and 55 hurdles, third in long jump, fourth in pole vault and sixth in shot put.

Ian Smith '20 had perhaps the most thrilling win of the evening, winning the 1000 by .04 at the final tape in comeback fashion. Frank Royal '19, as expected, had a strong overall meet, getting second in the 300 and fourth in the 55 and long jump.

Sully Beck '20 was third in the 1600, ditto for Jayden Smith '21 in the 55 hurdles. Smith anchored the 4x800 relay team to a win with Neal Dhar '20, Christian Johnson '21 and Henry Valentine '20, a squad that will all return next year.
