Mrs. Shealy's Spanish students enjoy special guests during Hispanic Heritage Month

Current faculty and staff members, parents, and friends of the school of Hispanic heritage speak to Lower School Spanish students.
National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed every year from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. Mrs. Shealy's Spanish students participated in the monthlong observances by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

To liven their celebrations, Mrs. Shealy invited a number of guests of Hispanic Heritage, including Lower School Spanish teacher Sonia McDonnell and  Middle and Upper School Spanish teachers Kathleen Hornik and Veronica Mayer. The boys also enjoyed a visit from current parent J.C. Hernandez (A.J. '30).
