Oliver Gardner '23 teaches his classmates ballet
Gardner, a trained dancer, recently showed off his skills in Ms. Pohanka's French class.
This year eighth graders in Carey Pohanka's French class are enjoying a new learning module called "Apprendredi," a mash-up of the french words for "to learn" (apprendre) and Friday (Vendredi). During last Friday's session, Ms. Pohanka taught the boys about the history of ballet before Oliver Gardner, an accomplished ballet dancer, taught his classmates a few positions.
