British couple, friends of Rich Hudepohl, visit with StC faculty

Quentin and Caroline Russell, owners of the French château where Rich's X-term cohorts stayed, follow through on U.S. trip they had planned prior to his passing.
Late faculty member Rich Hudepohl was well known at StC for leading student trips to Europe. For the past eight years during X-term, our experiential learning program, Rich and his cohort stayed in Normandy at a place called Château du Perron. Over the years he developed a friendship with the château's owners, an English couple called Quentin and Caroline Russell. The Russells had planned a trip to the U.S. in May prior to Rich's untimely passing in January of this year. Despite Rich's passing, they made the trip to visit his parents and many of his friends—mostly current faculty members—who stayed with Rich and his student cohorts at Château du Perron. Recenrly, many of them got together for a dinner at the home of Marion and Clarke Halladay.
