Hart '18, Gitomer earn awards
Duo honored at VAWA banquet April 20.
Two Saints were honored at the Virginia Wrestling Association banquet Saturday, April 20.
Virginia-bound Gray Hart '18 was named the F.D. "Red" Robertson Student-Athlete of the Year for Private School wrestlers. He went 36-3 this year at 138 pounds, winning his second straight state title. He ends his career with 172 wins, 7th all-time in school history.
Coach Ross Gitomer was named the 2018 Billy Martin Sr. Coach of the Year, leading the Saints to the state VISAA title and a 17th straight Prep League crown. StC also finished 6th at National Preps, the third time in a row the team has placed in the top 10.
