Lower School boys make piñatas for ¿Qué Pasa? Festival

Boys' pinatas counted towards VHCC effort to break world record for most piñatas on display.
StC is a member of the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (VAHCC), the organization that hosted the 2018 ¿Qué Pasa? Festival on May 5. The VAHCC successfully broke the world record for the largest display of piñatas on the day of the event. Lower School boys in Mrs. Shealy’s Spanish class made their own piñatas to help break the record, all of which were on display at the festival. Mrs. Shealy taught the boys about the history and tradition of piñatas as they made their own.
