Clifford Foster '18 won't go far away for school, and will continue his golf career at VCU.

The All-Prep League and All-State VISAA performer is excited things worked out with the Rams.

"It's been a long time. Nine months ago I was in this position ready to commit to VCU," Foster said. "I had to work through it in the classroom and now I'm here. I'm really excited. It's been a lot of hard work."

The Saints are the defending state VISAA champions and also boast Virginia Tech signees Connor Johnson and Drew Brockwell, also seniors. Now it's Foster's turn in the spotlight.

"I really like the golf coaches and the facilities are great," Foster said. "They've put a lot of money and effort into the new facility downtown. The school is getrting better each year. It's an awesome place and I'm excited to be down there."
