This past Friday the Varsity Lacrosse team opened their season with a 9-7 win over Blue Ridge. The multiple days of work that the team put in during the offseason and spring break was evident, as the offense was clicking and the defense was organized.

The Saints kept Blue Ridge at bay for the whole game, as Davis Gillenwater '19 provided multiple goals and the offense managed its possessions efficiently. Blue Ridge tallied four of its seven goals in the final quarter, but St. Chris played well and with level heads to fight off the comeback. If this first result is any indicator of what could be in store for the Saints', it'll be a great season.
