The JV basketball team completed an unbeaten season Feb. 16, taking down Trinity Episcopal 54-30 at home.

The team finished a perfect 16-0, with 13 of the wins coming by double figures. The closest call was a 43-41 victory at Woodberry Forest on Feb. 14, with the Saints playing without several starters and key reserves.

"Undefeated with 16 wins while overcoming lots of injuries and illnesses throughout the season is so impressive," coach Cary Mauck said. "This was a very talented group of players who played hard and listened to their coaches. Coach [Rich] Hudepohl's powerful coaching contributions in the season's first 2 months was largely responsible for our fantastic finish over these last 2 months."
