Swimming third at state VISAA meet

The swimming and diving team placed third in the state VISAA meet Saturday in Stafford.

Tennessee commit Sean Hogan '19 led the way, posting two All-American times in two wins. He went 1:49.31 in the 200-yard IM, not far off of the meet record (1:48.50) achieved by Michigan's Charlie Swanson '16 in 2016. 

Hogan also dropped a 49.58 in the 100 backstroke, 1.5 seconds faster than the runner-up. He was named the Swimmer of the Meet for the second straight year.

Hogan teamed up with Miles West '20, Hunter Sundlun and Zach Akin '18 to place third in the 400 free relay.

Gray Broaddus '20 placed third in diving.
