Basketball moves to Prep League semis
Murphy's career-high 23 points a key to win.
Donovan Murphy '18 picked the right night to have a career game.
The 6-2 senior poured in 23 points, 13 in the second half, to lead StC back from a 16-point deficit, defeating St. Anne's-Belfield 76-68 in the quarterfinals of the Prep League tournament Tuesday.
Junior Gibson Jimerson '19 put in 24 points, a game high. Justin Jasper '18 chipped in with 17 points and timely defense down the stretch to hold STAB at bay.
The Saints (15-11) advance to the Prep League semis to face No. 1 seed Trinity Episcopal Friday at 5:30 pm at TES.
