Basketball goes 1-3 on road trip
Battle with Trinity Episcopal to end regular-season Friday.
The varsity basketball team stands at 14-10 overall, 4-5 in Prep League play after going 1-3 in a tough four-game road trip.
The Saints pulled off a win against Steward Saturday, Feb. 10 42-29. Justin Jasper '18 led the Saints with 15 points, and Gibson Jimerson '19 chipped in with 10. Will Roberts '18 hit a big 3-pointer in the fourth quarter to keep the Spartans at bay.
The Saints fell to STAB 65-55 a day before the Steward game, and then took two losses on long road trips to Christchurch (54-39) and Woodberry Forest (52-48). Jimerson poured in 38 in the setback to the Tigers.
StC ends the regular season at home versus Trinity Episcopal Friday at 6 pm.
