Basketball wins at BCP
Jimerson '19 has 33 points, 15 boards. Defense superb in second half.
The varsity basketball team won its first straight game, downing Benedictine 67-54 Tuesday night at a rowdy Rut Court.
The Saints broke the game open with an 18-6 third quarter. Gibson Jimerson '19 was a beast with 33 points and 15 rebounds, both game highs. He also blocked two shots and gathered two steals.
Justin Jasper '18 continued his strong play with 13 points, including a big 3-pointer in the fourth period. Walker Wallace '20 and Donovan Murphy '18 both came off of the bench to deliver seven points and big defensive plays.
The Saints return to Prep League action Friday, hosting Collegiate at 6 pm on Senior Night. The Cougars won the first matchup 59-53.
