Down as much as 16 points, the varsity basketball team rallied to defeat Saint John Paul the Great on the road Friday 71-68.

Gibson Jimerson '19 poured in a career-high 44 points, and four-year starter Justin Jasper '18 threw in a career-high 23 points to lead the Saints back.

Jimerson scored 15 field goals, five of them from 3-point range. Jasper's transition attacking of the basket was key, as were his two 3-pointers to slice into JPJ's lead. Jimerson scored on two layups, the final one with 1:10 remaining, to give StC the lead for good.

Jimerson also grabbed 10 rebounds. Nigel Green '20 had eight boards.
