Hoops moves on to semifinals

Will face host St. Alban's Friday at 8:15 pm.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Coming off of a tough road loss to Norfolk Academy, the varsity basketball team knocked off Sandy Spring Friends School of Maryland 78-59 in the quarterfinal round of the Bishop Walker Invitational at St. Alban's Thursday.

The team will face host school St. Alban's Friday at 8:15 pm in the semifinals.

For the Saints, Gibson Jimerson '19 poured in a career-high 33 points to lead the way. Arnold Henderson '19 had 12 points, all in the second half. Jack Pendlebury '18 put in nine points, and Cole Minetree '19 had eight.
