Joint eighth grade service project supports troops in Iraq
Eighth grade boys and girls pack 40 care packages and Facetime with alum stationed at Fort Leavenworth.
On Friday, November 17 eigth graders from both St. Christopher's and St. Catherine's worked together to pack approximately 40 care packages that are being sent to an army base in Iraq.
The group also had the opportunity to Facetime with Wilson Mustian '97, an alum who is a National Guard reservist currently stationed at Fort Leavenworth, KS. Wilson spoke to the students about his experience serving in the military.
There was a big cheer in the room when Wilson mentioned longtime faculty member Cliff Dickinson, who he said was his favorite history teacher!
