The varsity football team beat Paul VI 27-0 at home on Saturday. Will Hayes '19 caught a 35-yard touchdown pass from Pat Routsis '19 to set the tone early in the first quarter. After a back-and-forth second quarter, Jens Ames '18 bursted up the middle for a 70-yard touchdown run to start the second half. Hayden Forrest '20 added aother touchdown from seven yards out and Nigel Green '20 sealed the game with a 3-yard touchdown reception.

Ames led the team with 7 rushes for 80 yards, and Routsis finished the game 14-28 for 170 yards and two touchdowns. Hayes caught 5 passes for 80 yards. Charlie Boggs '19 led the defense with 10 tackles, including 3 tackles for a loss.

The Saints improved to 5-2 and will travel to Alexandria to face Bishop Ireton next Saturday.
