This week author and illustrator Jason Chin talked to Lower School boys about his books including Gravity, Island: A Story of the Galapagos, Redwoods, Coral Reefs and his latest, Grand Canyon. The boys, in response, shared with him poems that they had written inspired by those very books. 

Second graders in Mrs. Buerlein's class responded to Jason's presentation by doing a BUILD project, bringing the books to life by constructing scenes that represent them.
