Are you tired of your friends beating you at chess? Are you new to chess and want to know what all the fuss is about? Bottom Up Chess is for you! In this course you will learn powerful chess strategies through this structured, but fun program. In the end, your hard work and patience will pay off as you learn the power of each piece before plunging into the full battle. Before you know it, you’ll be saying, “checkmate!” This camp will have one hour with the instructor via distance learning (synchronous time) per day, followed by up to one hour of independent work time (asynchronous).

Required Materials: Students will need internet access, a computer, and basic knowledge of chess moves. Access to a chess set is recommended but not necessary
