X-Term 15-16 Final Projects

X-Term Presentations

  • Will the Real Richmond Stand Up?
How well do you know your city and its history? What is your role in it? Richmond is a fascinating amalgam of histories, cultures and peoples. In this cohort, students will develop a better understanding of Richmond and their place in it, through speakers, field trips and experiential activities.
  • New York and 9/11
This cohort will take the time to examine the historical and cultural impact of the events surrounding the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Since our current students are too young to have strong memories of that day, we will work to demonstrate that it was a seminal moment in the lives of individuals as well as in our world.
