Andrews '16 to golf at Sewanee

Captain has played varsity golf for five seasons.
Two-time captain golfer Coleman Andrews '16 will continue his career at Sewanee.

Andrews also considered Hampden-Sydney, and had a few other walk-on opportunities, but felt Sewanee was the choice.

"It was a perfect fit between academics and the coach," Andrews said. "I went up there this December with my dad for a visit. Coach [Nate] Parrish is just a great guy and really wants the team to get better and cares for me personally to get better.

"It was kind of the perfect fit for me."

Andrews has been a varsity golf member for five seasons, and was an all-state member in 2015 helping the Saints to the state title and an unbeaten dual season. He hopes to help the Saints to a similar fate this season.

"It's been an incredible journey," Andrews said. "It's probably the best team that St. Chris has ever had. It's a great group of guys, and I've really enjoyed my time here."
