Omohundro '19 indoor track athlete of the year

Elby Omohundro '19 continues to rack up awards, the latest is the All-Metro male indoor track athlete of the year.

The UVA recruit is one of the top athletes in the U.S. in the pentathlon and decathlon, having finished second in national events in both events this past season.

Omohundro scored 40 points in the VISAA championship meet, including first in triple jump and second in high jump and 55-meter hurdles, and has been named Prep League and VISAA athlete of the year multiple times.

Elby's name shows up in the All-Metro rankings four different times, all in field events: #3 High Jump (6-2), #4 Triple Jump (46-9), #7 Long Jump (22-3 3/4), #8 Pole Vault (13-0).
