The varsity wrestling team went 2-1 at the Gilman Duals in Maryland this past weekend, topping perennial power Germantown Academy 38-33 and halting Lawrenceville 45-27.

Joey Prata '16 (113), Carrington Lanier '15 (195), Hunter Wigginton '15 (160) and D.T. Badley '17 (heavyweight) each went 3-0 at the event.

The Saints received surprise production from Kameron Miller '16, who stepped in at 152 and won two matches, one by tech fall 15-1 and the other by forfeit. John Fergusson '15 and Alec Hale '15 also racked up two wins.

Up next is the Virginia Prep Duals at St. Christopher's Saturday, January 31. Wrestling begins at 9 am.
