Wallace '15 Scholar-Athlete runner-up
Three-sport athlete honored by Times-Dispatch, Richmond Sports Backers.
Fleet Wallace '15 earned boys runner-up Monday for the Scholar Athlete of the Year award given by the Richmond Times-Dispatch and Richmond Sports Backers.
Wallace will receive a $5,000 scholarship towards his education at Cornell, where he will also play lacrosse.
Wallace was named St. Christopher's top senior athlete this year as a first-team All-Metro football receiver, a standout basketball player and an all-state lacrosse player. He was also a three-sport captain.
In the classroom, Wallace earned a 4.3 grade-point average, a 2230 on his SAT and was an AP Scholar with honor. He also won the West Point Leadership Award and was the Vice President of the Missionary Society.
