Saints suffer first loss of season

Wallace '15 pours in career-high 25 points.
WILLIAMSBURG - Fleet Wallace '15 scored 22 of his 25 points in the first half, but the Saints dropped their first game of the season 64-53 to Walsingham Academy Saturday afternoon.

The Saints led much of the first half before Walsingham made a run, and cut the lead to two points late in the fourth period on a 3-pointer from Nick Sherod '16 (11 poins). But Walsingham's Richard Washington made an old-fashioned 3-point play on the ensuing possession.

The Trojans (9-0) stroked their free throws down the stretch to get the win. Alexander Petrie '17 had 13 points and three steals for the Saints (5-1).

StC will look to get back into the win column Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 5:30 pm as Pope John Paul the Great visits Scott Gym.
