The varsity football team fell 34-15 in the VISAA state semifinals to rival Benedictine Saturday afternoon.

The Saints played a marvelous first half, getting a 49-yard TD pass from Jeb Bemiss '16 to Fleet Wallace '15, and a 16-yard toss to Sean Menges '16 to take a 15-14 lead into the break.

But the top-seeded Cadets (9-2) took control of the game in the third period scoring 20 points in 3:31.

The Saints finished their season at 5-5 in the first year as head coach for Lance Clelland.
