Saints shut out Bulldogs

Offense and defense are both impressive.

The varsity football team wasted no time in dispatching host Norfolk Academy, winning 44-0 Friday afternoon.

The Saints moved to 2-1 while the Bulldogs dropped to 2-2. StC will visit Benedictine for its third straight road game Friday, Sept. 26 at 4:30 pm (this is a change).

Jacob Roberson '15 had an impressive day on the ground, running for 106 yards and two scores. He had help from Sean Menges '16, who broke a 91-yard TD for a 28-0 lead in the second period.

Fleet Wallace '15 put up 126 yards receiving and two TDs from Jeb Bemiss '16 (7 of 12, 160 yards).

Defensively, Menges (10 tackles, 2 for loss, safety, sack) set the tone in the middle.
