Williams-McElroy History Endowment brings Pulitzer Prize finalist and New York Times best-selling author S.C. Gwynne to campus.
Sam Gwynne, author of Rebel Yell: The Violence, Passion, and Redemption of Stonewall Jackson, was the guest speaker in Upper School Chapel on Friday, May 8. Gwynne fascinated the students with his account of how Civil War general Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson became a great and tragic American hero.
