Fall Festival 2010 Information


Please mark your calendars for this year’s Fall Festival on Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23, and the 20th annual golf tournament at Willow Oaks Country Club on Monday, October 4. 

Under the "Download" tab is the information packet you will need to sign-up in advance for many of the Fall Festival activities.  You will find order forms for T-Shirts, Honor Wall Banners ,Tickets.  Also in the packet are registration forms for the Golf Tournament and 1-mile Fun Run.  We also have some favorites returning this year such as Saints-To-Go Mixes and the always popular Plant Sale.

The kick-off for Fall Festival begins on Friday evening, October 22, with a Preview Party being held from 6:30 - 9:30pm in the Bolling Field House.  An invitation will be mailed to you separately.  This event is a fun and informal adults-only gathering allowing you the first opportunity to preview and shop the Vendor Marketplace while enjoying delicious food and beverages.  The Marketplace will offer many new vendors as well as some favorites such as Christopher’s Closet, Book Nook and Toy Chest with a White Elephant Sale added to our line-up this year.  This is a casual evening and terrific way to socialize, shop and support the school.

On Saturday, October 23, the Marketplace will be open from 9:00am - 3:00pm.  Remember that 15% of all sales from both days go to the school.

Circle Monday, October 4, and tee it up in support of the School at the newly renovated Willow Oaks Country Club course.  Captains’ Choice will be the format and box lunches, beverages on the course and a post tournament reception will be included.  No one will go away empty handed as a special golf jacket will be given to each player.

Fall Festival could not be successful without the efforts of hundreds of parents who help throughout the entire event.  New this year!  Lower, Middle and Upper School parents can register online. There is a tab on the right-hand-side of the screen to do this. We hope that given the broad range of dates and shifts available, everyone will be able to find time to help with this Parents Association fundraiser.  Volunteers are needed the week leading up to Fall Festival as well as a day or two after.  We are dependent upon your participation to make Fall Festival a great success.  Thank you in advance for your help.

In addition, we would also like to thank our extremely energetic 2010 Fall Festival Committee. These volunteers have devoted many hours over the past seven months to produce a successful event for the school and for our boys.  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

Once you have completed the  forms, please fill out the final tally sheet and mail it with the forms and your check made payable to St. Christopher’s Parents Association (or STCPA).  The deadline for pre-orders is Wednesday, October 13.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Cricket O'Connor at oconnorc@stcva.org.
