Nick Sherod '16 poured in a career-high 33 points, including a blistering 26 in the first half, as the varsity basketball team handled Collegiate 68-42 on the road Friday night.
The freshman scored in a myriad of ways on the night, including swishing five 3-pointers, four in the first half. The Saints took a 24-point lead into halftime, 39-15 and continued to control the contest leading by as much as 33 points en route to their 10th win of the season.
Rodney Williams '13 stuffed the stat sheet as usual, with 11 points, a game-high 12 rebounds, three steals and two blocks. All 15 Saints played.
The Saints, ranked 10th in the Times-Dispatch Top 10 and the VISAA state poll, have three games next week, starting with a visit Tuesday, January 15 to Fork Union.
