Christian Alcorn '13 is set to finish up a standout career at Williams, and is off to a good start.
Sunday, the goalkeeper rose to the occassion, stopping a penalty kick with 37 seconds left to give the Ephs a 1-0 win over Babson. Alcorn, a senior captain, started all 16 games last season and is a two-time academic all-NESCAC pick.
"It's a big ask in that moment," Williams coach Erin Sullivan said according to their website. "But [Alcorn] stepped up and delivered...this is part of the growth of his career, and he's at an all-time high in terms of form."
The Ephs are 4-1 on the season and 2-0 in the NESCAC, thanks to Alcorn.
